The meeting will act as part of the consultation on the future role and composition of Advisory Councils. As part of the CFP reform, it is proposed that RACs are rebranded Advisory Councils. Representatives from Member State ministries will also participate.
The meeting will take place in the Danish parliament.
The seminar will be conducted by Shelley Clarke, a visiting researcher from the National Research Institute of Far Seas Fisheries in Shimizu, Japan. It will take place between 14.00-15.00 at Linné Hall, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Lilla Frescativägen 4.

The agenda features an exchange of views on the establishment of measures for the recovery of European eel stocks, as well as a presentation by the Commissoin on Council Regulation (EC) No 2187/2005 for the conservation of fishery through technical measures in the Baltic Sea, the Belts and the Sound.
