BALTFISH Forum and High Level Group

It is expected that topics discussed will include the salmon management plan and TACs for 2019 as all stocks reach their maximum sustainable yield deadline. It will be the final meeting under the Danish Presidency with Sweden taking over in July.

HELCOM Ministerial Meeting

The first HELCOM ministerial meeting for five years will see the adoption of political declarations as part of efforts to implement the Marine Strategy Framework Directive. HELCOM’s Baltic Sea Action Plan (BSAP) is an ambitious programme to restore the good ecological status of the Baltic marine environment by 2021.
