On 17 December, the Commission launched two targeted consultations into the Common Fisheries Policy and the Common Market Organisation. In the consultations, stakeholders are asked to contribute to upcoming reports on the two policies, which the Commission aims to publish by the end of 2022. The consultations are open until 28 February 2022.

The Commission will organise a stakeholder event as part of the review of the functioning of the Common Fisheries Policy to discuss the results of the online consultation and the in-depth regional discussions, as well as a number of studies on different aspects of the CFP, such as climate change, regionalisation and the landing obligation. … Continued
