One- day fisheries science seminar, “New Challenges and Opportunities facing Marine Fisheries Science”, will be held in London the 31st of October. It has just been confirmed that Ms. Damanaki will be attending and taking part in this workshop. Look below for more details of the seminar, including an agenda for the day.
The event organized by Fish for the Future on October 25-27, 2011, will feature a computer game developed by scientists at the University of Kiel that aims to visualize the common pool problem, the focal issue of the reform of the Common Fisheries Policy.

This year’s symposium is dedicated to carp and their relatives. They are the dominant, and most common, fresh water fish family in Swedish waters, and globally account for over two thousand species.
