Quotas for the North Sea, Atlantic, Black Sea and certain other stocks for 2013 will be decided. Discussions will also take place on the revision to the cod long-term management plan for the North Sea waters.
The second day of Council will discuss fisheries issues, including TACs for deep-sea stocks for 2013 and 2014, along with an exchange of views on the annual consultation with EU and Norway, and the Danish delegation will brief the Council on the Norway pout stock.
Agenda forthcoming. Baltic TACs and quotas for 2013 will be decided. Cod, sprat, herring, salmon and plaice will have quotas set for the coming year. The Council is likely to aim for a General Approach to be agreed on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF).

The Council, under the Danish Presidency, is expected to adopt a General Approach on the Basic Regulation of the CFP, as well as on the regulation on the Common Market Organisation (CMO). The European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) will also be discussed.
The Commission has organised this conference to discuss the feature of regional fisheris management organisations. These institutions deal with shared fisheries outside of national waters.
The Skåne European Office, representing a region from southern Sweden, has organised the seminar to highlight the situation of eel in Europe and discuss solutions on how to tackle the challenges.
