Purpose of meeting:
For all relevant NGOs to get together and discuss strategic issues related to the EU Advisory Councils, in particular to discuss the implementation of the discard ban and other issues related to CFP reform, exchange experiences and advice, and identify common goals.
- To discuss the future ACs and the practical implications of the CFP reform
- To assess NGO representation in the different [R]ACs and the challenges of new ACs.
- To discuss implementation of the discard ban and regionalisation in the different [R]ACs.
Planned outcomes of meeting:
- Strategy for joint actions and collaboration in 2014
- Possibilities for cross-ACs support and information exchange on discard ban plans and multiannual plan
